The #Idavox Report: Election Day Special

Welcome to the #Idavox Report!

Musician Frank Zappa once said: “Government is the Entertainment division of the military-industrial complex.” On that note, this week, on the #Idavox Report, we are going to be talking about the election. Daryle is joining us tonight directly after his shift working the polls! Along with Brian Powers and Christian Perez, he will be breaking down this election as the results are coming in tomorrow night.

Rittenhouse Trial

Before we begin talking about the election, Brian and Christian address the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. At age 17, Rittenhouse killed two people and injured another with a gun that was illegally carried across state lines. Before the first witness has even taken the stand, the judge in the trial has already declared that those killed cannot be referred to as victims within the courthouse. Christian predicts that we can “get ready to be disappointed” by this trial.

Whether or not Rittenhouse is found guilty, his life is set: If he’s found innocent, that is plainly unfair and will show the country that these actions are permissible (for white men) under the legal system. If he is found guilty and sent to prison, he will be considered a right-wing martyr, cementing this idea in his head. He would likely also get out early. The court will not fix the broken system that led us to this situation. No matter what the outcome of the trial is, the people Rittenhouse killed are dead and he has no shot of becoming a good person. Brian admits to feeling despair.

2021 Election

Among the biggest current electoral races in this region of the country are those for Governor of New Jersey, Mayor of New York, and Governor of Virginia. Daryle confirms that the Republican candidate in Virginia has tentatively won. On the other hand, projections indicate that ex-cop and Democrat Eric Adams has won in New York. In a way, these are both losses. Daryle predicts that a lot of police violence will take place in New York under Adams.

As Daryle arrives better late than never from his shift at the polls, the panel discusses the various uninspired Democratic campaigns. Where they lost, it was because they didn’t even try. Democrats squash their own policies before even getting into office and then act surprised when people don’t vote for them.

Hate Has Consequences

The date is approaching! The American Renaissance Conference plans to meet in Montgomery Bell State Park in Tennessee on November 12 and 14. Daryle implores as many people as can make it to go try to shut it down. He will be there confronting fascists directly. If you cannot make it, there are other ways you can help. As Brian has pointed out on the show before, not much has changed since our live breaking news show on the January 6th, 2021 insurrection. The Democratic party has not been doing its due diligence in holding members of the opposing Republican party accountable. If nothing changes in the long run, then this was only ever a circus.

Renowned activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins hosts the #Idavox Report every Tuesday at 8PM EST along with Brian Powers and Christian Perez.
