Welcome to The IDAVOX Report on Revolution Radio!
It is Tuesday night, and you know what that means! It’s another episode of the Idavox Report on Revolution Radio. We open the show with Brian Powers, Christian Perez, and Daryle Lamont Jenkins. Obviously, we are going to be poking some fun at CPAC. Blowing up on Twitter right now is the fact that there was a golden Trump statue at the event.
Although most conservatives claim to be Christian, this conflicts with that ideology: the golden statue is a firm example of an idol. He was also breaking the US Flag code by wearing the flag as underwear. Overall, the statue is a hilariously pathetic failed attempt to glorify a fallen leader.
Events like CPAC currently exist, comment Daryle, as a product of the right going into survival mode. The right doesn’t like that the American demographic is shifting. People that they kept down for generations are now speaking up and they’re afraid. The right’s priority is to make sure that they themselves keep existing. This fact explains how conservative political conferences these days are always self-aggrandizing. In a way, however, these vain events are an admission that the right has lost its grip on the country.
Watching for White Supremacy
For people who wanted to be even more vile with their displays of racism, there was the America First Political Action Conference, also held in Orlando. Christian and Daryle share that it is disturbing to see that they had people of color as speakers at an event where the mantra was to preserve white supremacy.
“If you don’t think that you are adequate enough to maintain this society, that’s your problem; get the hell out of the way [and make room] for those that can,” asks Daryle. These white supremacists are also sellouts and Daryle challenges them to take their bullshit somewhere else in the world where it won’t be tolerated like it is in parts of the Southeast US.
Daryle Called It: Boogaloo Boy Arrested With Weapons
Speaking of sellouts and white supremacy, Paul Miller was arrested this morning by the FBI at his apartment in Florida. The charge was possessing firearms while being a convicted felon. Paul Miller is a Boogaloo boy that we’ve discussed before on Revolution Radio. Idavox has been reporting on him for over half a year as his racist antics and threatening language have escalated. Until recently, Miller lived near Daryle in New Brunswick. We are all glad that this man no longer has guns. Daryle predicted that he would be dangerous and hoped he would be brought to justice. Brian suggests a segment with Daryle called “I Told You So.”

Rod Webber and Lauren Pespisa
It is our honor to welcome Rod Webber and Lauren Pespisa as guests tonight! Rod is an artist and reluctant documentarian. In the nineties, he was part of the NY folk punk scene, opening for Daniel Johnston and Kimya Dawson. In the following decade, he transitioned into directing art films. His latest documentary, “2020: The Dumpster Fire,” is about the civil unrest of 2020. The movie features interviews with Noam Chomsky, Jello Biafra and Daryle Lamont Jenkins.
Lauren Pespisa is a longtime activist, talk show host and producer. Throughout her life, she has been a part of Occupy (Boston), Anonymous and other left wing movements. She has produced multiple podcasts targeting the Boston area. She currently works as a producer and in front of the camera along with Rod. Her goal is to help raise awareness and inspire people to act with the new film “2020: The Dumpster Fire.”
Activism Through Performance
You can see the trailer for “2020: The Dumpster Fire” here. In the movie, Rod travels the country and examines the civil unrest that unfolded throughout the year. Rod’s new song, “Joe Biden Wrote The Patriot Act”, is featured in the movie. The song can also be found on her Twitter.
In Rod’s spare time, he gets into lots of trouble working in media, trolling politicians with performance art, and generally raising hell. For example, Alex Jones has called Rod “absolutely evil,” a fact that is showcased in the documentary trailer. In March, he was arrested by the Boston police for saying “FUCK DONALD TRUMP, FUCK WHITE NATIONALISM,” burning a US flag, and conducting a “Satanic ritual” during the Oct 2020 Super Happy Fun America rally.
Plugs and Information
Lauren’s ongoing podcast, Renter’s Radio, is a weekly livestream that discusses the issue of increasingly high prices for housing in Boston, where rent control is banned. Lauren is committed to helping those facing homelessness through her podcast, which covers helpful information such as local elections.
Daryle is a member of the Antifascist Unity Coalition. AFUC is involved with several mutual aid projects and food banks. If you are interested in the organization or getting connected with mutual aid, contact Daryle or visit http://daysofunity.org/. They host food drives on the first Saturday of every month.
Idavox is the newsline for One People’s Project and can be found on Facebook, Twitter, or their website. One People’s Project can be found on Facebook and Twitter. Daryle himself is on Facebook and Twitter. The One People’s Project also accepts donations through Daryle’s Cash App account, $NotoriousDLJ.
Until next time, everyone, stay safe and stay informed.
